Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide versatility and height. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
In cases needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments called forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is meant to hoist personnel is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a chain or strap is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
