Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a large variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your requirements, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and designed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
