Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines manufactured by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial settings where the machine needs to travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC machinery.
Some of the important features offered by this combination comprise up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. As well, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all units, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
The proportional and drive controls offer the machinery with smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive environments, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models available to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie equipment by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine extreme lifting versatility and up, out and over positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this particular type is the best in the market.
Diesel engine equipment on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machines are great in small or narrow places. Additionally, they provide terrain and grade maneuverability, supreme power and exceptional torque. The diesel engines are generally quiet too. The majority of models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to provide great flexibility on uneven and rough surfaces.
The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, provide high ground clearance and the rough terrain features that make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models as well.
